Description of Picture.Diane Wanger coined the term Goal30 in 2013 to describe a specific program of legal family law community engagement in enhanced professional services for the month of October 2013. The project was developed in response to competitive pressures in the market with the intention to increase real and perceived value of attorneys in family law cases.

The term can be used generally as a noun. Goal30, is any project with the goal to transform habits and behavior in individuals or communities that is conducted over a 30 day period.

Goal30 can also be used as a verb describing the act of engaging in the transformative behavior as in " I am going to Goal30 exercising mores".
